Loke McMichael, local Kona star athlete and model, starts our relay team with a solid swim:  26:22 minutes

Loke removes the timing strap.

Looking at all the bikes still on the racks, we're off to a good start.
Loke passes the timing-computer chip off to Dard.  Once secured to the left ankle, it's time for the bike.

When Loke was featured in Sport's Illustrated, Esquire, Maxim, etc. she was the youngest female Triathlete ever to complete the Ironman World Championship in Kona.
She went on to do it six more times.

Here's to Team Braddah Delta!  Dard finishes the 25.8 mile bike in 1:21:24 at an average speed of 18.3 MPH.

Rebecca Woodburn completes the 10K run in 49:19 minutes.  Our relay team takes sixth place out of 18 teams.

Not a bad way to spend an early spring Sunday morning in Hawaii.
