Aloha Penei & Dard! Just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU! for such a memorable and special 25th anniversary! You both went above and beyond expectations for us and we were both so happy with everything! You are both obviously so happy together and love what you do - it spilled over onto us and created a very relaxed and happy celebraton! It was so romantic and was so much more "us" than our original wedding was! Here are 3 of our favorite photos along with our original wedding photo. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts! -- Theresa & Bob Bradley |

Dard- You are the BEST! Thank you doesn't even come close to expressing our deep appreciation to your talent of making our wedding ceremony so very special and meaningful. The warmth of your spirit and understanding of the significance of a union between two persons gives you incredible minister manor. Do you have a copy of the vows you used with us-- even if not the actual vows- just a written reminder you could email to me about the meaning of the earth, the wind and the water? Mahalo- Bill and I were very touched by the quality of you ceremony for us on 09-09-09. Fondly, Bill & Jenn Gehr Mahalo, Bill and Jenn, for your gracious testimonial. Every ceremony has unique elements, but the general outline that I use for a Hawaiian wedding can be found here. -- Dard |

Hello Penei,
Carson and I had to jump right back into work obligations after
returning from Hawaii, but I definitely wanted to take the time to say
Mahalo for the beautiful ceremony. The location you suggested and the
actual ceremony itself were beautiful. We absolutely are in love with
the spot and are looking forward to returning there on a regular basis
to remember our beautiful wedding.
We watched the video from Lynne the other day and were reminded of how much we appreciated your officiation of our wedding. I also really appreciated your help with everything and have been really impressed by Michael's pictures as well as Lynne's video and the flowers were beautiful as well. The Big Island has always held a special place in my heart and now it's become something special to our families as well. Thank you so much for helping make our wedding exactly what we wanted and best of all helping to make it low stress. Thank you again!!!
Lindsay and Carson

Dear Penei, Just wanted to thank you for the wonderful wedding ceremony. The whole day was perfect but what most people loved the most was your wedding service. Most everyone said it was the nicest service they had ever experienced. Thank you for bringing the beautiful leis and the great harpist. Also thanks for the most wonderful cake referral. Even Earle- who wanted to elope- was so pleased with the service. He did break down and cry when it was over and he truly meant that" you are the most wonderful minister in the world." We have not received our pictures yet except from one friend and I will attach the group shot you took from his camera. Frank is putting his pictures in the mail- all 500 of them on a CD. I will forward any I think you might have an interest in. Again, you made the wedding special and beautiful. It truly was all that I could hope for. Thank you so much.( We just got home last Wednesday -early morning) Terri |

Hello Dard and Penei, I received your lovely voicemail as you were looking at our ship and sent your love to the rest of my family. That was very kind of ya’ll to call and I’m sorry that I missed it when it rang. I can’t express how wonderful and meaningful you both made our special day. It was the most moving ceremony I have ever seen. It far exceeded our first huge formal church wedding. Again, I just can’t seem to express how grateful we are to you both and how much meaning and love you put into our ceremony and to all of us. It was extremely moving. My parents were in awe and said that it was the best part of our vacation. Ya’ll are wonderful people and we are so fortunate that we now have you in our lives. Both of my sisters are downloading their pictures, so we will be sure to forward them to you. I have taken a sneak peak at them, and they are really good. I will keep you posted on when I send them to you. We had a nice excursion home and a good flight back into Houston. Now, it’s back to the same old grind again! But, it’s good to be back home. I have to admit, that I would truly love to live in Hawaii, if there would be jobs for us and we could afford it. It is truly beautiful. Take care and hope to hear from ya’ll soon. Anna |

Aloha Dard, The dust is starting to settle, we are now on the mainland. In Canada to be exact. We miss Kona, but are having fun with our new adventures :) I just wanted to thank you for making our wedding day go so well. The ceremony went really well, and we received many comments on how nice of a service it was. My dad, who I was most worried about (being the Catholic man that he is, and the fact that we were not married by a catholic priest in a catholic church) got me to print out your ceremony so he could remember all the meanings of what you did and he even commented on how nice of a job you did. Yep, we are both so glad we found you and that you were the one to marry us. I'm attaching a picture that one of our friends took....I love how you seem to be having such a great time ;) Big mahalos for being there for us. Hope this finds you well. Lisette and Vince ;)

Penei and Dard: What a truly wonderful experience you provided for my daughter, her husband and our friends. The two of you made it very worthwhile. Again, you made it the best. We all loved the conch shell blowing, the guitar playing, the chanting, the ring ceremony and the lei presentation. Also, thank you for helping with spreading the lei pedals for my wife (she would have been proud).
I know you, Penei, truly understand "the moments that have taken my
breath away." |
